We are hiring one or two Enterprise Deployment Engineers to help deploy our accounting platform within the private cloud environments of large enterprises.

This is a customer-facing, cross-functional role at the intersection of DevOps, cloud infrastructure, security, and solutions engineering. You will work directly with customer IT and information security teams to understand their architecture, navigate security requirements, and deploy our application inside their VPC.

We are looking for someone with strong technical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the agency to take an enterprise deployment from initial discovery through production rollout.

01

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end deployment of our application within customer-managed VPCs and cloud environments.
  • Work directly with enterprise IT, infrastructure, cloud, and information security teams.
  • Understand customer architecture, networking, access-control, data-security, and compliance requirements.
  • Design and implement secure deployment configurations for each customer environment.
  • Configure infrastructure, networking, IAM, secrets, logging, monitoring, backups, and application dependencies.
  • Support architecture reviews, security assessments, technical questionnaires, and deployment planning.
  • Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, networking, permissions, and application deployment issues.
  • Coordinate closely with our engineering, product, security, customer success, and sales teams.
  • Build automation, templates, documentation, and runbooks that make future deployments faster and more reliable.
  • Feed recurring customer requirements back into the product and deployment architecture.
  • Own customer deployments through validation, production launch, and operational handover.
02

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or a similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, security groups, VPNs, private endpoints, and load balancers.
  • Experience with IAM, secrets management, encryption, logging, monitoring, and backup strategies.
  • Comfort working with Linux, CI/CD systems, and scripting in Bash or Python.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, networking, security, and application layers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with enterprise technical stakeholders.
  • A high-agency approach: you can operate with incomplete information, identify the right next step, and drive work to completion.
03

Nice to have

  • Experience deploying software into customer-managed or highly regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security reviews and frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or related controls.
  • Experience with Helm, GitOps, private container registries, and observability platforms.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing infrastructure, solutions engineering, or implementation role.
  • Experience working with financial, accounting, or other sensitive business data.
04

What success looks like

Within your first few months, you will be able to independently lead customer deployment conversations, translate enterprise security requirements into a working architecture, and take deployments from planning to production. Over time, you will help turn a complex, customer-specific process into a secure, repeatable deployment system.

This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys deep technical work, direct customer collaboration, and taking full ownership of complex problems.

Send a short note on an enterprise deployment you owned, and your resume.
